In 1978 two young teenagers in Vinton, Iowa started their first jobs working for a local janitorial company. After
working together for many years they decided to get married and start their own janitorial company in 1986.
Because of their high standard of service, within just a few years, their company was cleaning all of the Fareway
Grocery Stores in Eastern Iowa! After selling their janitorial business in 1991 the Turners continued in the janitorial
industry. Because of his extensive knowledge in the janitorial industry Mike went on to sell cleaning supplies. Becky
cleaned homes.
In 2003, they started a Hardwood Flooring Company, which went on to become the largest hardwood flooring company in Eastern Iowa!
With a combined total of over 32 years in the janitorial business, Mike and Becky Turner have a passion for cleaning! It is literally part of THEIR history! The name "Hawkeye" is also from Mike's history. He grew up and went to elementary school in Hawkeye, Iowa! What a perfect name for a janitorial company that pursues
dirt like "prey" with the eye of a hawk!
In 2021 they saw the need for a quality janitorial company in
Iowa. In the early stages of development of Hawkeye Janitorial,
Mike and Becky Turner are doing ALL of the janitorial work THEMSELVES!
As they train and hire helpers only the highest quality employees will be
brought on board.
